Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains what data Mouse-Jiggler.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is operated from the Netherlands and follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Mouse-Jiggler.com ("we", "the site") is an independent website operated by Güven Aydın, Netherlands. For any privacy question, including a request to exercise your rights below, use our contact form.
The short version
- The jiggler tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing about your computer is sent to us.
- We have no accounts, no logins and no newsletter, so we hold no user database.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them.
- If you use the contact form, your message is emailed to us and not stored on the site.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The only way to send us personal data directly is the contact form, which asks for an email address, an optional phone number, and your message. We use it solely to reply to you. The submission is delivered to our email inbox; it is not written to a database on this website and is not shared with third parties. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the matter, and delete it when it is no longer relevant.
Information collected automatically
Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records standard server log data - IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer and browser user agent - for security and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for a short period by the host and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records anonymous usage statistics such as which pages are visited, approximate region, and device type. We use this only to understand which guides are useful. We do not use Analytics to identify individuals.
What the tool itself does not collect
The mouse jiggler animation is drawn locally by your browser using an HTML5 canvas. It does not access your files, your input devices, your clipboard, your installed software, or your network. It sends no data about your computer to us or to anyone else.
Cookies and consent
On your first visit you are asked whether to accept cookies. Until you accept, analytics and advertising storage are disabled through Google Consent Mode. If you decline, the tool and all articles still work normally.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key mj_consent. Clearing your browser storage for this site will make the banner appear again, letting you change your decision. A full breakdown is in our Cookie Policy.
Advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google and other advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set.
Affiliate links
Some articles may contain affiliate links to retailers. If you buy through such a link, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labelled where they appear, and they do not affect the assessment given in the article. See our disclaimer for details.
Legal basis for processing
- Consent - for analytics and advertising cookies.
- Legitimate interest - for server logs used to keep the site secure and available.
- Performance of a request - for handling a message you send us through the contact form.
Data sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by our hosting provider and, if you consent, by Google as our analytics and advertising provider. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their own privacy documentation.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to request data portability. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests are straightforward. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority - in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be reflected in the consent banner.
